Here are three things I would tell people who want to live here 1. Get a parking pass. If you come back anytime after 9pm weekdays and weekends then there won't be nearly any spots left. I lived here less than a week before I realized I needed one. It's worth it. 2. If you want good random roommates, make sure you apply early. They do a good job at matching people if they have enough time to. If you try for random roommates last minute, Good Luck Charlie. 3. If you're a praying person, you better hope and pray you have decent people living in the apartments around you. These walls are PAPER thin and any loud music stomps noises barks, you will hear. The first 10 months, the apartment above me sounded like they had a rave every night. They also sounded like they walked around like elephants. No amount of 311 calls seemed to quiet them. It was awful. Overall, it was a great place to live. Not expensive like living downtown, quieter than downtown, many more food options than downtown, and a Walmart across the street.

The first day I moved in there was a pipe leaking, which made my entire closet smell like mold. Recently the shuttle service has been very inconsistent. It completely stops running without warning sometimes. or it is 30-45 minutes late sometimes. Other than these few problems it hasn't been bad.

But they have a lot of amenities that they provide to the residents. Upon moving in it was a bit of a difficult process and the apartment I moved into was definitely not clean as others had already lived here before I arrived. But I’m making due with the situation as beat as I can. All of my roommates seem to be pleasant up to this point.

submitted by Anna W. - |Recommended: YesOk experience — I personally really like the community of the Den. Move-in was pretty easy for me but my room was not cleaned thoroughly. My bathroom was honestly very disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned for a year or so. The apartment was covered in animal hair. Along with this, the washing machine was inoperable when we moved in and the oven is frankly disgusted, looks as if it had never been cleaned. There were a plethora of problems but overall it has been good.

submitted by Meghan B. - |Recommended: YesGreat Price and Great Find for a College Student — I love this place for many reasons, some of which include their great pool not heated , the shuttle bus to school, the rent price, the location close to major stores and restaurants such as Walmart, Goodwill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Shakespear's Southside Location, etc. , and the apartment itself. Though it has its flaws... such as the young staff that is difficult to work with, the wear and tear damage of each apartment from previous renters, and how it is kind of dirty in the outside halls to your front door... it is a great price and a great find for college students who basically just need a place to crash while at school. It has luxury amenities but the apartment that you live in will have its damages and stuff just be sure to write about it on the Conditions sheet you get at move-in day .
